We are so fortunate to work in such an amazing industry.  We get to build close relationships with people and communicate intimately with them on a daily basis.  We get to be there to share in all of their triumphs and support them through their struggles.  But truly the most amazing part of our job is that at the same time, they are there for all of our ups and downs as well.  Throughout our careers it is inevitable that at some point we will have a client, or know a client who is battling breast cancer. These are the same women who have been supporting us for years, helping us to succeed in our lives.  What better way to give back to them and such a supportive community, than to join together to raise money for local women fighting breast cancer.

Salons for Survival was founded in 2011.  During the month of October participating salons donate 20% of their services each Tuesday, as well as raising money from donations throughout the month.  The money we raise helps these women pay for expenses that insurance doesn't cover, and helps them to keep living while surviving.  United Way of Eastern Utah who partnered with Salons for Survival, together with our sponsors KUSA and Peczuh Printing, have helped us to raise and disperse over $16,000 to local women in our community.

Bellasano is proud to be a Locks of Love salon where our clients donate their hair, and we donate their amazing new haircut.

Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.  We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics.  Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure.  The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.

Bellasano also donates thousands of dollars in services to various fundraisers, schools, groups, and organizations throughout the year.  We live in such an amazing community filled with such kind and generous people.  We hope to show our appreciation for all the support you have given us over the past thirteen years, and look forward to what the future holds!
